A SME manufacturing industrial extraction parts found its internal growth outstripping the support levels it was receiving. After contacting several companies and paying for their services, found that after four rebuilds of its server, they were still not happy with the services provided.
They contacted Microsoft and the company’s information was passed to CETSAT Ltd. We called and organised a meeting to investigate the company’s issues further.
Challenge
CETSAT were called in to investigate how the server was running, and make a comparison report as to how it should be running, and what was required to make it work the way CETSAT (and in fact Microsoft) recommended. Challenge
In order to satisfy its newly awarded ‘centre of vocation excellence’ this company needed two new training suites for customers and its offices required a redesign of its entire IT infrastructure. Concerns in the training suite were primarily about providing the most cost-effective and ease of use infrastructure to deliver training in a safe environment. Internet access and email usage also was of high importance, as was quick recovery of the training suites and if necessary rebuilding of one of the training suite PCs should the system fail for any reason.

Challenge
This organisation had multi offices throughout the South West. CETSAT was first contacted when one of the organisation’s servers suffered a hardware failure. CETSAT were called in on the Monday to diagnose and, if possible, fix the problem. It transpired that the server had suffered an unrecoverable motherboard failure. The machine was outside of the manufacturer’s warranty, and it was decided that the most cost-effective and the quickest course of action was to replace the machine. The CETSAT engineers took the failed server away with them to enable data recovery.

Challenge
A company at the forefront of sales solution selling and proposal writing training and development realised that provision of email services and access to that email was the cornerstone of its business. The company wanted to have immediate access to a proactive, on-site IT specialist.
CETSAT were asked to provide a far more proactive solution to the company’s support requirements and also to provide far greater business continuity. The company discovered that a day of lost email could be in the order of £20,000 worth of lost business.
